Auberge de Rochetaillée

Never seen a restaurant like this! There were two of us eating, the first customers. The owner pounced on us, forcing us to choose a set menu. I asked her to bring me the menu. There was no children's menu for my daughter. So I decided to order fish and chips. I asked for an aperitif while I thought about what to order. That's when the owner got angry and told me I had to hurry up. Unacceptable! We left while they were lecturing us and insulting us… AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!

Unacceptable! We visited the restaurant a few months ago and ordered our meals as agreed. I ordered a potato pancake. It was served without salad. Disgusted, I asked for a salad to accompany my friends' meals. A waitress arrived and told us that exchanging our meals was impossible, especially since my dish wasn't originally served with a salad, so I was ABSOLUTELY NOT supposed to have one. What business is it of hers? They're my friends, they agreed to it!! We paid for our meals anyway, so we can do what we want with them! The waiter, however, was great!

A very friendly, "family-oriented" atmosphere. The dishes are generous and delicious. We had a wonderful time.

We regularly eat at the Auberge de Rochetaillée; it's become a ritual for us. The welcome is always top-notch, and the food is excellent. We ate there on Sunday and were annoyed to hear comments directed at the owner. A table for 40 people was there, criticizing her behavior, all over a gratin dish. They were awful to her. Please know that the owner is a wonderful person who takes good care of her customers, and her waiter is kind. And kudos to the chef for his work!

Very good and generous portions. It's best to book in advance on weekends.

I went to eat at this inn last night with my girlfriend. We've never seen such appalling service. In half an hour, we'd finished the appetizer, the potato pancake, and dessert. We hadn't even finished the appetizer before they were serving us the potato pancake. Not to mention the woman who paid the bill: she was incredibly rude. We'll never go back to this inn.

Service in one hour. Arrived at 7:30 pm, left at 8:30 pm. The potato pancakes were served with an aperitif because they were still hot from the kitchen! I have doubts about the artisanal charcuterie. An extra €3 on the potato pancake menu on Saturdays seems unjustified given the speed of the service! Only fromage blanc was served; the chocolate mousse included in the price was not served as listed on the menu. Such rushed service is unacceptable.

I had an exceptional time: an excellent meal, full of flavor, in an ideal setting with an incomparable view. A big thank you to Nadine and her team for their warm welcome and professionalism. Special mention for the tomato sauce, which reminded me of my Italian mother's... a true taste of authenticity and tradition!

We ate very well at this inn; we were served by a very nice young man. Unfortunately, he would air his grievances in front of everyone and shout, which was a shame.

A timeless restaurant. A magnificent, slightly retro dining room with a breathtaking view. A tempting selection of dishes, making it difficult to choose. Fabulous cuisine made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is also exceptional, with a boss who doesn't take any nonsense. The prices are very reasonable. A must-try, and a place to return to. Thank you to this team where everyone knows their place.
