Di Voglia JEAN-JAURÈS - Brasserie Italienne & Pizzéria Napolitaine

We've been coming here for several years. But recently, the pizza toppings have changed. There's hardly any tomato sauce (almost none at all) and the toppings are sparse for a Margherita. Disappointing. On the other hand, the waitresses and waiters are welcoming and friendly.

The inauguration of the adjoining establishment caused a lot of noise. Slow and disorganized service.

Lovely food and lovely atmosphere

We came for dinner this evening, just the two of us. We received a very warm welcome and were served quickly. A big thank you to Kelia for her exceptional hospitality! She was so friendly and welcoming! Plus, the setting is lovely! I highly recommend it.

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites in Saint-Étienne, but unfortunately, it's no longer the case. The service was disastrous and the food was mediocre. Serving appetizers after the main courses is certainly unusual, and then you have to ask several different waiters for bread and salt—apparently, there's only one salt shaker for the entire terrace! The pasta was overcooked and then completely inedible because the salt shaker was faulty and the salt spilled all at once onto the plate. I had to warn the other customers so they wouldn't have the same mishap. The waiter offered me a free coffee when he saw our dissatisfaction, but the service was so slow and erratic that we left. In short, a ruined lunch and an experience I won't be repeating.
