We were just passing by, and they made us pizzas as they were closing up shop. They even gave us a bottle of Coke!! Adorable! I highly recommend them; the pizzas are super good.

Passing through Saint-Étienne, we were looking for a small restaurant away from the shopping centers and were drawn to La Grotte. The welcome was pleasant, dinner on the terrace was lovely, and the pizzas 🍕 were original in their toppings and delicious. The owners were friendly and had a good head for business. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Saint-Étienne.

Very low quality restaurant. Almost everything tastes ready-made and cheap. The pizza quality was terrible — hard dough, poor ingredients, and barely any flavor except tomato sauce. Even the mushrooms were canned instead of fresh. Definitely not authentic Italian quality. Overpriced for what they serve and very disappointing overall. I would not come back or recommend this place.

Having visited Saint-Étienne regularly, I discovered this restaurant in October 2025. Since then, it's become a ritual. I dine there every time I'm there! The service is always excellent, and honestly, I've never eaten such good pizzas. Thank you to the whole team. Looking forward to it!
